Clayton County officials cleaned sewer lines after 5,400 gallons of grease spilled into a creek that runs into the Flint River. Workers traced the spill to the Meadow Springs Apartment Homes on Riverdale Road in College Park, said Suzanne Brown, spokeswoman for the Clayton County Water Authority. "It was grease products put down the drain," she said. "It always stops up down the line somewhere."
